The main focus of this site is the history and rhetorics of cookbooks. My prime interest is printed cookbooks, but I will also give references to manuscripts. The cookbooks are not only studied as sources for food history, but above all as a genre of European non-fiction literature. I hope in particular to be able to communicate information from the smaller language communities in Europe, especially from the Nordic countries. Any suggestion to improve links and information is welcome.
